**This is the most in-depth sight I have found regarding what the LEEP procedure is and how it is performed. Not to mention it has several pics and illustrations.** PLEASE BE ADVISED- the pictures ARE graphic in nature to the cervix! However, they are no more gruesome or shed negative light on the procedure. The entire link describes and demonstrates/shows what the LEEP actually IS. However, the pictures toward the bottom on the far right of the screen show a cervix 3mths post LEEP and another a year after LEEP....those gave me hope! :-)
