Hi.  My desired discussion is about a marriage breakdown among Catholics. Every couples situation is different and unique. But in general, are there any Catholics such as I am who find themselves in such an undesirable situation?  My wife left me one year ago. Just told me she is leaving me and already secretly set up her own apartment. Our two kids stay in our matrimonial home with me about 95% of the time. So I see the wife almost every day, usually for just a short time. I am a committed Catholic, she has left the faith quite fully. She had a Catholic upbringing and her brother is a Priest.  Yet, she has no desire for God's Church.  I struggle every day with sadness. This is not the life I wish for. I need family and support and have not had such for a year now.  I am close with my kids, she is not.  She wants an independent life free from responsibility other than to herself.  A valid marriage such as ours can never be dissolved. I believe I have a lonely life ahead of me. I have to change this attitude and perspective. It's not healthy. Until death due us part. Thus I have to redirect my future goals and plans, one that will be solo, without a mate.  Anyone care to discuss and share comments?
