Siamese cat help

my lover boy fur baby is 3 yrs old.   When he is awake, He insists on walking around yelling at me all the time.    I buy him lots of toys, he is not interested in any of them.  There is only 1 toy he will play with.  He also stands at the door crying for hours, and will cry part of the night by front door.  Any advice would help.  I am sleep deprived Siamese mother

I have heard from other cat lovers that Siamese are EXTREMELY VOCAL. It seems to me that this is one of the "drawbacks" of being a Siamese owner. Perhaps it is time to switch to a different breed?

I am hearing impaired myself so vocal felines are not a problem for me. Smile.

yes, agreed with KittyKai. A Siamese cat likes "to talk" with their owner. I came across a few breed info, hope this helps:

My cat hasn't gotten more vocal as he has gotten older. I finally bought ear plugs and ear "muffs" to take the edge off and so far it is working. I can still here him but it is not as annoying. I am getting used to wearing them when I sleep.
