For all those people who are slaves to their cats!
My 9 lovely month cat has an infection, fluids in his lungs , cvet took 240ml of blood fluid from his Lungs, he is very lethargic, I am giving him antibiotics and nursing him since New Year's Eve when he was diagnose , vets said he has a 40% of survival and if he survives this weekend he will see him on Monday 3/01 to drain more of the fluids , we already spent more than £600 and looking for an insurance- any suggestions of an insurance that will also cover pre existent conditions ? we have pet plan , someone suggested 'bought on pers' insurance??
I had a kitty with a heart infection and she did pull through.
About the money, that's rough. I never had pet insurance. Care credit is a possibility. They will often let you pay interest free for up to a year or two even. They will usually cover just about anyone. That's how I paid a lot of my vet bills. With either that or other credit. It's not perfect but in an emergency you could use it and figure how to pay it back later.
Prayers for you your kitty. 9 months is young and that's in his favor. But I don't know what he has. If you want to say more about it, maybe I could help, not sure. I have had a lot of cats over the years with all kinds of health problems.
