Don't know your story, so not sure if it's similar to others. My daughter called me every day until she never called me again. Recently tried group therapy after nearly six years, at the request of my son, but my daughter was a stranger. She didn't seem to want to know me, so I feel like I have to move forward. It's a weird sort of death for the parent. The daughter I knew is gone. Now there is a person who sort of reminds me of her, but this person has no interest in me. I'm a good person with a lot to offer, but if she doesn't want this, there's really nothing I can do.

I’m so sorry for your pain. It’s painful when people disconnect from you. Especially relatives. Especially your own children.
I have a sister who’s done it to me. She is keeping her little boy, husband and in-laws from me. There is nothing I can do. I pray for her and her family and I patiently wait. I think that is all one can do. I pray that she will resolve her problems. I know God is aware. I have faith that good things will happen. Hope that helps!
