Cannabis Medication Community Group
This group is for those who choose by license, or on their own, to use cannabis as a treatment for what ails their body, or head, or spirit. I invite everyone to discuss not just the fight we have with the government(s), but also things like, your issues with finding it, s^^ling it, issues with friends that you have in this area of life. Perhaps we don't have to be...

I believe in smoking weed. I really do. Sure, it's not for everyone. But, my best friend turned me on to understanding that it's way more than just a thrill or something for bored kids to do. She is Rasta, basically. She drinks coffee and she never has the patience to keep her hair in braids for long enough for them to dread. But, in her heart, that's who she is. Rastafari believe that smoking Cannabis is a spiritual experience. They smoke weed together and talk about politics, spiritual awakenings, and such. They do not use any other drugs. That idea is totally anathema to a real Rastafari. They shun alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, and even commercial personal products. They believe that those things compromise the spiritual experience of smoking the herb. Mostly, I agree.
Personally, I DO use caffeine, tobacco, the personal products, and of course, my stupid psych meds. But, I DO shun alcohol and so-called, "street drugs", and I think that they stunt the spiritual growth that can be achieved by smoking Cannabis and being open to it's enlightening benefits. I have never felt healthier in mind as when I was able to smoke weed on a VERY regular basis. I was clear headed, I could read between the lines, and I was confident in the fact that try as they might, NO ONE OWNS ME. That's the lie that they propagate, and that's a large part of the reason that I believe they want Cannabis kept down, and even now, they only want to give it mostly to people who are dying, because then, at least, the trouble makers don't have that much time left. A spiritual revolution would destroy the U.S.'s stranglehold on its slaves. They can't have that.
This is my way of life. This is the healthy choice for me. Cannabis helps me on ALL levels, emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, and even socially. I don't apologize for it, and I don't apologize for sounding like a "hippy wannabe nut" to some people. "I'm proud to be a stoner.......", as the song goes. I'm not immoral for smoking it. THEY are immoral for trying to keep me suckling from their tit of poison rather than the thing that helps me live.

Yeah, I agree. And they are also trying to take away the choice of people using Salvia Divinorum. I know very little about this herb, but it seems to be just another case of bullshit to me. From what little I've read of it, there have been no recorded deaths, (just as with Cannabis), and no apparent ill health affects from using Salvia. Still, they're trying to make it a Schedule 1. Assholes. Doesn't give me very much confidence in OUR fight for OUR herb. No matter WHAT they tell you, they are NOT trying to stop us from using any herb because they're concerned about your HEALTH. If they were, they would never ever suggest that a person spend their life on all these dangerous liver and kidney damaging prescriptions while supporting the prohibition of natural, non-lethal plants. We need to find a way to pull the damn veil off of the public's eyes. Not sure if it'll stop the gov't from lying, but at least more people will know the enemy for who they are.

I agree and am totally a weed smoker/supporter because I think it has more enlightened effects than alcohol, other street drugs or even pharmaceutical meds. I think the government keeps people from smoking because they realize all the good it can do and that if people smoked more weed than they would have less psychological problems that those that are on man-made meds. Pharmacuetical companies would lose money. Why would any politician who wants to stay in office support us over drug companies that pay for their campaigns? That is the real reason governments never allowed people to grow it or tax it like tobacco or alcohol. It's all about money. What the government doesn't realize is that growing weed is actually a very profitable enterprise and more products and jobs could be created from farming pot than by catering to big drug companies. We would have less problems with Mexico- we could even start a trade with them as well as Canada and some European countries to improve our strains or make new ones. Jobs could, not only be created from farming, but paper and clothing made from hemp on a world wide scale.... all the numerous uses for cannibis could be applied to our economy and lift us out of the mess we are in so we can stop borrowing from China. Pretty soon we'll be owned exclusively by the Chinese government! I know this sounds extreme but people need to wake up and rise up in support of any state and federal law that grants marijuana legally to it people. Stop giving money to drug companies. I understand that some people have to take meds in conjunction with weed to keep them even. This is understandable- to a point. But doctors today have become the pushers of the 21st century.
