I got my medical weed card. finally!!!!!!! i was trying to get it for bi-polar disorder but got it for PTSD instead.

How do you get a medical weed card? Does it only apply to residents of the state that allows med marijuana or can others from neighboring states with a doc in the state that does med MJ also get a card/ prescription?
Do all docs of med MJ states support the measure or do you have to go to certain docs that perscribe? Very curious as I live next to one state that has med MJ and I am in one that has to wait a year to see about passing a similar measure.

No, I'm in the Northeast and trying to see what it would take for me to get med card. I live in a state that does not currently have the law but live very close to one that does- close enough to get a doc ( I currently have no doc) that is supportive, if that'll work.
