Today is a very long day. I lost my prescription sunglasses last night, so i left early today to buy new ones. I couldn't get an appointment, but they filled it according to my 2006 prescription. Then i went shopping for supplies and then i went to work. What a day.


What did you do today?

rained all afternoon. met with the new landscaper as the other one, was a no show last weekend and friday! grrrr. so we'll see. talked to L who just got back from costa rica, freaks me out for some reason when i see him, the last time he walked up to me in a parking lot and says to me, did you pay for those groceries, and like an idiot i actually SHOWED him my receipt and then i realized and i was like, omg! what are you doing around here. i'm actually too old nowadays to handle that, my blood pressure goes up, as dumb as that is, because its a nothing joke and i know him, i just never see him, maybe once per year. in ten years, he will have high blood pressure too, just like the rest of us, and he will understand not being able to handle surprises well.

left condolences for another death. which ties into L above....this world is too small and even ties in with kv, etc., because the guy that dies was a manager of a marina further south of here but knew people up here at this one. what a mess. looked at photos of another ex's new grandson. gad we are all so old now, how the hell did that happen.
