I know that you're really busy but I wonder if I could ask that you respond to the CL's when we write in worried about a member or a board

 

It's hard on us when we hear nothing back from the site... Jesse always responded to us

 

I realize things are different now but it would be appreciated to have a response to the volunteers

While we are on the subject of writing DS....My last 3 messages went unanswered. I sent two through the CL email address and I sent the third through the regular members feedback form and I never even got a reply that they received any of my messages.

Thankfully it wasn't an emergency but it would have been nice to get just an automated response, saying they received my message. I am curious what's going on.

That's what I was thinking. I did get a response from the help desk for specific issues that could be handled strictly through IT methods.

I'm not sure what we can do to get acknowledgement.

Thanks, SC. I appreciate your speaking up for us CL's. It so happens that at the moment I am indeed concerned about a long term member on the board where I'm a CL. By concerned I mean worried in a way I only get worried about once a year or so because it's a situation that's the real deal.

Real deal or not, though, you're right that beyond worrying and being concerned, there's not much we can do except turn to each other. Of the latter I'm really glad, I have a lot of confidence in everybody I've met here in this CL group. I appreciate y'all, I really do.

I think that may be something that we should do is turn to each other more...

You and I are assigned to the same board so we do and Mark and I are assigned to a board together so I message him when I need to

Boards with only one CL have it hard though and I invite anyone to message me if they want to talk anything out.... I find 2 heads can really help on here.... xo

I'm lucky to have you with me as CL on my board, SC, especially since it quadrupled in membership since I joined it. Being a single CL on a board would be rough, though. So as far as supporting any of y'all who might be leading a board on your own, I say with SC me, too.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
