Update on Spam

I wanted to let you know that DailyStrength is working on a message for the community regarding the new type of spam that began showing up recently. Once posted, you can refer members to the post should you receive any questions about this spam issue.


The message has been sent up the chain of command and will be posted once we receive confirmation that it's good to go.

It would have been so easy to say senior management. But the term "parties" was used so I'm going to speculate it's lawyers.

Because speculation is all I can do right now.

I can see it hasn't been fixed - I just spotted a hijacked profile from my group online at this moment sending our friend requests. Same pattern as before - no activity for 2 years and now suddenly loads of friend requests. I have reported it, but it sure is discouraging....

I honestly don't think DS staff is allowed to discuss this even with us...

For one we haven't signed any agreements … I think it's like going after the messenger

I'm as frustrated as anyone but if there are rules that have to be followed then that's the answer.... Sharecare is doing what it can to protect their company and they don't share a lot of information IMHO..... At least that's what I believe that I'm seeing

Jan, if that were the case they could tell us.

DS admin have been able to be quite specific on not talking to us about what they find when we send in a report to them.

They could equally say "we really can't talk to you generally about issues on the site".

But they don't. It's not like this is a new thing.

I agree that if this is the case it would be much easier for everyone if it's just stated clearly.... We are on the side of DS completely..... and if info can't be shared just say so

again. simple common courtesy. Are they going to post something at the close of business today as they've done in the past and members won't be able to get their questions answered because we have NO weekend coverage?

I am not totally non DS but I am not on the side of DS completely when it comes to this. they are wrong in dragging this out.

btw, seems that captcha is " working" I had to make three reports this am. on the third one, it did the captcha thing on me but not the first two.

    Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.
