Hi Team,
Long time no see! I wanted to let you know that my co-worker Rob has taken over for Shelly as the main support resource for DailyStrength.
Here is a link to Rob's profile:
https://www.dailystrength.org/user/profile/2256755
What this means for Community Leaders and the DS community is that Rob will now be the main point of contact for DS and will tackle day-to-day stuff like:
- Responding to CL emails
- Posting as TeamDS in the DailyStrength Member's Support Group
- Responding to all member support requests and abuse form submissions.
- Banning spammers
- Recruiting new Community Leaders
Rob and I have been working together on the same team for years now, and he is familiar with DS... I have full confidence that he'll do an amazing job. Rob, welcome aboard to DailyStrength!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday. :)

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

Well, good morning to you!Today is National Roller Coaster Day. Are any of you going? It's also National Tell-A-Joke Day! Come up with some and share!I'm not bright with jokes these days, but I'll start:"Today I ordered a chicken and an egg from Amazon...I'll let you know." :D

I look forward to getting to know you Rob and I hope that you both have a very Happy Thanksgiving
As well all of my American CL buddies!!….. Hugs.....xo
It seems trauma memories get refreshed during the holidays. Or if not, regrets about family estrangements due to domestic violence surface as folks enter the holiday season and begin to compare their families or lack thereof to all of the TV and movie holiday families.
Anyway, I kind of figure my PTSD group serves in these times as a sort of virtual family of choice to take the place of biological families that might not be so functional. To give support we CL's need support, so I thought I'd give a shout out. Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving, and on to Christmas now.
