Are journals private any more?

In addition to having a flood of journal notifications, my DS PTSD members are saying their journals are private any more since the last software update on DS.  Is that by design?  It's causing friction among members, and they say un-friending folks bothering them in their journals hasn't worked.  What should I tell them?

Yes when you click on Journal and it opens it gives you options of having a public journal, a draft, a private journal or friends only journal.....

You just click on the one you want or "I think" it's public if you don't click on anything

I think what's bothering some that are having open journals is that they don't like the comments

People can choose each time they write a journal who sees it or not.......xo

It could be like the notifications everything has reverted to a default. As far as I can tell my journal entries still have a mix of friends only and public stuff. It might be useful if people are saying it's old journal entries or the new ones that are affected.

to check what is happening with the new journal entries

for the new entries the easiest thing to do is to test it.

I've created a journal entry and set it to me only.

Please try two things - go to my journal and then see if you can see a journal entry "privacy test".

Then see if you can access via the URL

I also went to your journal. I saw an entry TEST but did not see PRIVACY TEST.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
