Another Focus on the Family type outfit on DS

Yesterday I asked Jesse about this group a DS PTSD member posted about on a thread.  I read what they posted, and they seemed a lot like Focus on the Family.  I ran the post by Jesse, and he said yes, they were, and so we should follow the DS policy of Focus on the Family with them, too.  We removed the post.  Thought I'd pass it along.


What got my attention most was the site's "guarantee" of their group's cure for depression based on their religious claims.

Unfortunately there are several populations on DS that are ripe for exploitation - we've had scientologists, FoF and various others selling "cures" or some kind of relief.

I suspect if we were to all ship out parts of DS would be taken over by these people. It's one reason why I remain.

I know, Fish. I joined the local chapter of a well known, long-standing national civil rights group in my town only to find out the leadership were all Scientologists who actively tried to recruit me in a leadership meeting. Yikes. Not what I signed up for.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
