Let's see.. my official admittance date to the hospital was 12/11/09 and my release date was 12/22/10. Except for "tiny bits and pieces", I have little memory of the first six days in the hospital. Memory doesn't seem to have been in normal working order until sometime on December 17th.
Give it a try, if you do well that would be awesome. If you can't do it, don't. Its not worth the added stress.

I think it really does help to do things that take concentration. My main form of rehab when I got home from the hospital was playing Solitaire on the computer.
