Brain Aneurysm Survivors Group Community Group
A group to comfort fellow brain aneurysm survivors. We seek to relieve the anxiety about what survivors think about their progress on the way back to full health, work, and so on.
3 years ago my 39yo girlfriend has survived a cerebral aneurysm rupture, was in a coma for 2 weeks and had to learn how to eat, walk and functiuon all over again. Now she is fine but having to look after herself more carefully with a coulple of untreated aneurysms.
Her next appointment with the specialist is in Jan 2012. We have thoughts of having a child and would like to know the risks to her of being pregnant and then giving birth. I don't particularly want to wait until Jan to find out if that might be an option. She is over having to deal with how the aneurisms affect her life so I am finding out what I can without trying to bother her with something that stresses her.
Any help, advice, resources, books would be appreciated.

If you can share with me the pos consequences of a ruptured aneurysm I would appreciate it. Since I didn't have problems recovering the doctors didn't share with me a lot of information. My family knows a lot about it but they refuse to share it with me. Let me know how things go. I wish you and her the best of luck.
