I have suffered 2 bowel obstructions within 10 months and I'm 35 years old. It was told to me that it's started from a c-section years ago that left scar tissue on my intestines. The pain and recovery from this illness is so time consuming and life altering. Anyone else experience this condition? How did you continue on after?

I have experienced 4 bowel obstructions. The cramping within the abdominal area is horrible. I have been hospitalized 3 times because of the obstruction. During my last hospitalization, I did not eat or drink anything for 3 days. The doctor did not want to do surgery because that surgery could create more adhesions. I was told the adhesions (scar tissue) could be from a Laparoscopy I had 45 years ago. I try to take 4 Walmucil tablets daily with lots of water.
