One day I saw things from a different angle and realised that he was the innocent party in all of this and that there was something different about me. I realised that my arguments were completely pointless and that I shouldn't let trivial matters wind me up so much. I knew that there was something wrong with me because I could not control my behaviour if something made me feel angry. I would feel hate towards the person I loved most. That doesn't make sense unless you have BPD.
I am not sure it would have been helpful to be told by someone that they thought I had a problem. I think I had to work it out for myself.
I am not sure what you can do. Have you spoken to her about your ex and how she use to behave towards you? Could you discuss this with her doctor privately and see what they suggest?
