hmm, tell me about yourself

Long and short of it is, grew up with a depressed, suicidal mother who ended up killing herself when I was 15 years old. It was just me and my father living in the house at the time and my dad was emotionally absent. I never dealt with my issues and never mourned her loss. When people died in my family, and a lot of them did, it was just ignored after the wake and funeral.

Anyhow, having never dealt with the feelings of being unwanted, unloved and all that for years my self esteem is the pits. It has led to numerous problems in my marriage and I'm trying to improve it but I struggle with it. Self worth is just that, it's about yourself and I find that I'm my own worst enemy.
