Boomers Plus Community Group
Our group is primarily for those born from 1946 to 1964 and earlier. Come here to discuss the good and bad things about your age, retirement, benefit problems, and activities. And, maybe throw in a memory or two. If you're younger, you might learn where our generation is coming from. All are welcome.
Hot lunch was not an option until high school and we could buy by the day or week. We would buy on days there was something good or weather was bad. Other days we walked 6 blocks to downtown and visited the soda shop for a nutritious lunch of cherry coke and candy bar.
Whole wheat bread with fried egg or sardine or egg salad You get th gest stinky gross thongs with apple orange or banana. Treat? Oatmeal whole wheat cookie.

High school I ate in the cafe on days that it was good. Then in 10th grade in grade I would skip lunch and hang out in the girls bathroom and pocket my lunch money. Some times my friends and I would walk home and stop at the drug store and have cherry cokes.
Did not eat lunch in 11th grade and 12th grade.
High School: I carried my lunch. Sometimes I bought my lunch but not very often. My sandwich from home was much better
