I know not of which you speak, so evidently I haven't done that :-) I'm sure somebody will know exactly what you are asking. I grew up in rural KY so we had limited exposure to some things.

There was a LOUNGE in the dormitory where I lived as a freshman at the University of Texas...

Ahh yes the drive in movies. And don't forget the upper balcony at the theathers. When I was pre-teen my mother would never ever let me set in the balcony. It really peaked my interest as to why!

Remember the Westview? It was at the corner of what is now Valley Mills Drive and New Road. Valley Mills Drive used to be State Highway 6. There were 2 others out on the Old Dallas Highway, but I can't remember their names.

oh yeah the Westview was closest to me -- we used to go out in high school in the field behind Westview with binoculars to see shows we were not old enough to -- oops! I mean, yeah I remember it

gosh I have forgotten so much... I vaguely remember drive-ins on Old Dallas Highway

I guess after you left, they built a new drive-in at the intersection of the new Highway 6 and Highway 84. Richland Mall is there now.

um I think so - actually the "passion pit" I was in was a bit more "inclusive" than a drive-in. And that's all I am going to say about that :) And I only did that once - boy was it weird!
