I love the ladies who are gray and great. I am gray haired too and am happy to be gray, it's cool I think. I'm 51, and started having gray hair a few years ago.

My mom has dyed since she was 40, she is 76 now.

I do have a few strands of gray hair. Not very noticeable though according to my siblings. There are five of us and everyone else is gray. Only one (my oldest brother) colors his. I think he considers himself a lady's man or something. lol. The rest of us aren't very concerned about coloring our hair. We are satisfied with it the way it is. I don't particular care for dyes anyway. The video was nice.

My mom refused to go gray. She had her haired dyed to the day she died. Nor would she be called grandma or granny, so all her grand kids called her Momma Shine. I've put her pic in the photo section. Me? You've seen how gray I am.

While I like white gray hair I do not like the mousey gray I seem to be blessed with so I do color with a light blonde.
One day Hubby made the statement..."I would not object if you wanted to color your hair". What does that tell ya? LOL bless that man!

i have been dying my hair since 1996 and was horrified when i had to start doing that. had a friend who was totally gray down the part in the middle of her head while pregnant and she was 26. all my blonde friends used either half peroxide in their shampoo, starting in their teens to be blonde(r), or went to salons for blonde streaks. so blondes start even earlier i guess.

hair color is supposedly "good" for your hair as its made today. before hair color i used cellophane and before that henna for highlights. i used spray in color with hairspray in the 80's, like burgandy sparkle and neon blue to match what i was wearing and LOVED it. today they just put all kinds of color right on top. wow! wish i was young.

Yes I color my hair . When it started graying , I syarted coloring . I will stop when it is all silver . I think silver hair is beautiful ! Until then..color ! I feel like one of those artic rabbits , not all grey but not all brown either . Eew ! When its silver..Ill stop. Vanity ? You bet . Love my red hair too !
