No, this isn't a test. I was making out my grocery list and realized I buy a lot of cheese every week. One item just says "sliced cheese". That could mean 2 or 3 different kinds at the same time. I try to keep a package of Monterrey Jack around all the time. I use it to fix up a Tombstone frozen pizza I have every weekend. A package of thin slice ham, chopped bell peppers and onions, and Mozzerella cheese and Monterrey are added to a 4-meat or Supreme pizza to make it the way I like it. Then, a package or cheddar or colby jack cheese go in the cart(I keep both of them for sandwiches) and, sometimes, a package of swiss comes along. A package of American cheese stays in the fridge and is used the most for everything from grilled cheese sandwiches to breakfast burritos. I practically grew up on colby(we called it rat cheese back then) when Saturday lunches in my dad's grocery store meant a piece of rat cheese, a hunk of summer sausage, a dime box of crackers and a Big Red, eaten behind the butcher shop. Every once and while I'll buy a hunk of colby or cheddar. Cheese and crackers make an easy meal.

I watched the history of cheese on TV several times. I understand that even lactose intolerant folks can have some cheese. Good for the bones..well we need all the help we can get !

I like extra sharp, no flavor in mild, chedder, and so on.

Can't eat much cheese anymore but I love Mozorella (sp), Colby and Monterey Jack cheese. We have a Dairgold dairy here than makes cheese and they package up wht cheese curds which we call squeaky cheese becasue it kind of sqeaks when you bit in to it. I just love it. But now Lactose intolerent so have to leave the cheese alone most the time.

My dad would get the squeaky cheese every once and a while, but he didn't like to sell it. He found out that it was colby that hadn't aged long enough. I lked it because of the squeak and the curds weren't packed well so it crumbled.

Cheddar, Monterrey jack, crumbled blue, Parmesan and mozzarella are always in my refridge.
I love brie and Jarlsberg.

Well I am from Wisconsin----so yep ! I am a cheesehead of sorts. (Go Packers --- next year)

I love most all cheese. In Wisconsin there are many specialty stores that sell all different kind of cheese products.

So keep eating the cheese my friends ---- it keeps Wisconsin going !
