favorite candy?those 'buttons' that came attached to long strips of paper and chocolate covered jellies.Those were especially nice.

My favorite was Baby Ruth because you could get a quarter pound bar for a dime.

Synder I remember the button candy! My brother and I would take 10c to the little store accross the train tracks and get a bag of 1c and 2c candies. Remember the B-Bat suckers? They were taffy! The chocolate was hard to find because they went fast.
My favortie candy bar was Baby Ruth and Heath bar.

Loved penny candy especially displayed in glass cases.
Chocolate licorice...nothing comes close to it today.

They make them anymore,,,but I remember going to woolworth's with my Mother and they use to have those candy counters just filled with all kinds of different candy,,,my favorite was a white almond ball,,it was sugar coated on the outside,, kind of like a jaw breaker but when you got to the inside it had an almond in the middle,,,it was yum for the tum,,,I loved those peanut clusters too!!
