Oh yes, I married the last blind date I went on and everything hA been okay for 40 years. Must have been a good blind date and we werent drunk, smoking pot or anything in those college years LOL

Yes ! I married my blind date too. My best friend wanted to go out with this one guy and so she asked me to go out with his friend. (my husband) She wanted this guy to ask her to the junior prom and during that date my (now husband) asked me to the prom. I told my friend after that date "I am not going any place with him, I cannot stand him so forget about us going with you guys." Well, we did end up going to the prom together and the other guy never did ask her. Been through lots of ups and downs but still married after 42 years !

One time,, that was enough!!! NEVER did I ever go on a blind date again...if I hadn't been on a double date I would of turned and run like crazy!! One glance and knew I would probably throw up before the night was over...I sat as far away from him as I could get!

Yes I went on a blind date - kind of. It was someone I met on AOL but had no idea of what he looked like or what his personal habits were. He was disgusting - picked his nose repeatedly in public. I could not end that date fast enough.

One time...only I really didn't go out with him. It was to be a double date with a friend and her BF. The guy I was to date was BF's friend..The BF was a nice enough guy and I thought it would be ok. Wrong! He blew the horn for me to come out...wrong. My dad got up--told him to come in. When he came in, I smelled beer and so did my dad. Needless to say I didn't go and my dad told him he should forget where I lived. Never Again!

You could describe my first blind date as Mutt and Jeff. A buddy of mine set it up. He was on the short side and his girl friend was tall. I was on the tall side and my date was really short,,about 5 feet tall. We were a really an odd group when we bought tickets to a movie. We went to watch the submarine races after the movie. His idea. He was in love. Not a good combination for a double date when the second couple was a blind date. My date and I ended up in the back seat of the car on opposite sides. Nothing happened and I got a call from my buddy the next day saying my date had complained that all I did was talk! Well, she wouldn't say anything, so I talked just to break the silence. It's funny that years later I hooked up with his date when I met her again when I was a radio D.J. She was a great date.
