I'm turning 65 next month and need some advice. A financial wizard I'm not. Has anybody got a recommendation for supplemental medicare insurance?

I havent reached thatage yet, but have a few older friends that use Health Springs. Think you just need to check them all out and get the best price for what you get. Good luck.

I have Sup. Insurance through AARP which is United Health and they offer a discount for a couple of years when you sign up I believe but you might have to search for it.

I have never had a minutes problems with any claims. Hubby has State Farm and also no problems and the cost is close to being the same.

I work in a clinic and process all the patients every day so I get to verify their insurance. I have seen quite a number of supplements. Blue Cross offers several plans, Genworth, AARP, and many others. Some are really good and some are really bad. Remember to study the plan, make sure it does what you want it to, understand your benefits and make sure it is worth the monthly or annual premium.
