Great article. I did, however, shake my head when the article claimed that King David's Kingdom did not exist or that the text found on the Shard is not Hebrew. I know that in every instance of religion, there will always be Devil's advocates trying to debunk the Bible. I believe that our knowledge is increasing and our ability to find such items from the past is God's way of showing the non-believers that the Bible is the true Word of God and that their time is running out. As the Bible says, in the last days, people will rebuke the Word and turn away. It is evident even in the archaeological digs in the Middle East. Great topic, Joe!!

While the site is likely to add another "building block" to the historical record, archaeologist Israel Finkelstein of Tel Aviv University said the claims about it went beyond the strict boundaries of science.

Finkelstein, who has not visited the dig but attended a presentation of the findings, warned against what he said was a "revival in the belief that what's written in the Bible is accurate like a newspaper."


Can you believe this? It astonishes me that there is evidence, physical evidence in your hand, that a period of the Bible, not only existed, but that the stories weren't just handed down orally throughout the centuries by hand written as well. This find ,if proven to be Hebrew, will mean that the Hebrew language is older than previously thought to be. This is exciting!!!!!!

"Accurate like a newspaper." We all know that the media will embellish the truth to get a story or that they leave out details because our Government does not want us to know the truth. To say," that what is written in the Bible is as accurate like a newspaper." this gentlemen claims that the Word of God is not truthful or that parts are missing because we can't handle the full on truth!!!!

I will pray for this man to be enlighten and for his eyes, ears, and heart to be opened to the Word of God. I urge everyone who read the article to do the same.

I understand, it immediately brought up a "red flag" as to the bias he was expressing... just consider this, newspapers are not as consistently accurate in their prophetic statements as we find in the written word of God. Now that adds credibility to the words of Pharoah.
