Is The King James Version really the only Bible th

I would like to post a question to the rest of the group. I was wondering if the King James Bible is really the only Bible that we should read? The other day I was on this website that said that all other Bible translations besides the King James are all corrupt. If the King James Bible is the only Bible that we should be reading; how to begin to understand what is written in the King James Bible? Thanks for any information.

Hi Jamie. To begin, thank you for asking this question! It is not a requirement to be reading any kind of translation of the Bible. What matters is if the Holy Spirit is directing you to read the King James version or not. From what I read is that it doesn't seem to me that the spirit is directing you and that the King James appears to be confusing. I'd pray and ask God for the answer. He might be pointing you to a better version more suitable for your own Bible study and something that you'd be able to understand and read easier.

I don't get why people are saying things such as any other version is corrupt. Beware of such a person or group. Just because they think other styles are corrupt, doesn't make it so. God bless and have a great day!
