We moved from one state to another, 714 miles to be closer to our son. He is married and our grandson is 14 years old. I do not seem to be connecting with him. He loves my husband who has dementia. He ignores me. We would see him a few times a year before we moved here last June. He is a great kid. My DIL and have had issues in the past and I wonder if he has over heard things.
