so i have a question and was wondering if anyone could give me their advice or if any of you have or are going through this.
My husband and I have been going through a tough time. We have a bad past but work through it. But I have been watching my grandkids Monday through Friday. Sometimes 7:3o-5:00 and sometimes 9:30 - 5:00. It doesn’t bother me. But my husband says that they get on his nerves for that long and often and just needs “breaks” from them. He feels that his “blood pressure “ goes high. I love having them. I have waited a long time to be a grandma and I know it won’t be forever they are here.
My daughter has offered to get a babysitter but he says they are fine here. But then he goes on like this. He is the step father to my kids. Before I started watching them, we never did anything and now that I have them, he said it stops us from taking off when we or (should I say him) when he wants.
I never thought he was like that. He claimed that He LOVES kids, but can’t seem to be around them long without them getting on his nerves.
I would love to go to a counselor, but can’t afford it. So I thought I would reach out to all of you. Thank you
