So... I’m totally into bondage and submission. Since a child I’ve enjoyed self bondage and to this day I’m helplessly turned on by the visual of women in BDSM and I long to be dominated and tied up. I’m certainly straight and I love and adore women. Their beauty, strength and glamour is mesmerising.

But I also feel so lost and lonely about my own desires to be tied up and to enjoy all the kinky aspects of play. I’m ashamed of my feelings and can’t share it. I lost my partner of long standing as I couldn’t find sexual fulfilment as she was not this way and we could not communicate in this subject. She made it clear she was not interested in such things and I wouldn’t push it of course. She even ridiculed me about it.

How do I find someone or even start to discuss this subject so as to enjoy a mutually beneficial sexual relationship where we could share and respect each other’s kink. Is it wrong to want to have a female partner who would share in BDSM? Can a women respect a man who wants to cross dress for sex games and be tied? To want to see her dress up sexually and play in BDSM games?

Im going out of my mind with frustration and the need to explore this. I need to be me somehow?

Fetlife. Join and list what you are and what your desires are. Go about it slowly and develop friends over a few months. I understand your frustration completely, however, if you spend all your time trying to fond someone who will be sympathetic, your chances of finding the right person may be difficult. Accept who you are and when you join fetlife understand that you are with people who are just like you although there are so many different aspects to BDSM you may be overwhelmed. Go slow, have fun talking to people and know that you are not alone.

I agree with other posters above about Fetlife.com, however, there are other dating sites that cater to people interested in BDSM. You may have some luck trying one of these as well. But, I would say the most important thing I can offer, and I wish I had done this a long time ago before I married, is to ask yourself what it is that you really want in a relationship - not just the BDSM - but all of the other aspects like communication, trust, fair fighting, etc. I see so many posters who complain of their kink relationship failures and it seems to me that a little self-reflection and honesty goes a long way. To involve yourself into a deep BDSM partnership is all about complete trust and agreement as to each others needs. BDSM is a spiritual experience, as well as a physical one. You need both sides of the coin to be complete. Go slow, have long discussions when you connect online and make sure that the woman you are interested in understands the spiritual side as well as the physical. Your discussions online should be such by the time you finally meet, both of you can talk freely about your needs. One way streets are difficult to navigate.
