I have survived three major earthquakes since September, so have all my family and all our pets, with minor or no damage to our homes, so I consider myself very fortunate.

I really do not believe in luck....I like raingirl's use of the word fortunate. Yes, raingirl you indeed have been fortunate.

As far as our personal lives are concerned it isn't luck I believe it is life choices and life choices of others. We cannot control if someone chooses to harm us, but we can chose where we go from there.

and no Rae we cant control what people do but we can control our response to that

i'm sure if i believe in luck either to be honest
