Myself, I'm atheist and I've raised both of my kids to be atheist also.
That said, they had an open door to go out and explore religion if they wanted to (although, quite frankly, I find belief in a god to be very questionable morality). But...I still let them know that if they wanted to go to a church that they could. My daughter took me up on it and went to Awana. Although when I found out that she converted the friend that she was going with...I called a halt to it.
In any case, re your question. I'd call you an "atheist". But...that term is considered too harsh in a lot of the United States.
People will generally call themselves "agnostic". Although in reality if you follow the real definition of the word, it's a stronger disbelief in god that "atheist".
But really....call yourself what you want. Humanist, Free Thinker, etc, etc.
