I think that art is very important, especially as a way of healing, no matter what from. So I think it's good to be aware of the benfits of Art, what it does, how it helps people.
My sister is so tormented
She's been through trauma and drama
On the side of life that is more tinted
How does the woman who loved God as her Father
Slip from that into a bottomless pit?
Maybe faith makes her crazy
I know faith made me a skeptic
After alcoholic on top of kids neglected
I watch psychiatrists test it and reverends bless it
I'm in the Church every Sunday
I keep searching for one way or another
He'll have to curse me or burst me with a sun ray
To let me know He's coming or en route
I'm at ninety-nine but I need a hundred percent proof
Show me a God
Sometimes I feel like this is a facade
Show me a God, please
Let me know someone is listening when I'm down on my knees
Where is the Passion of Christ?
What happened to passing His life
For the masses so massive it can't happen twice?
I need Your help and I'm not asking You nice
While I was in an insane asylum
God or God's ghost is what I tried to find
To take away all of this fiery pain
If He won't bring rain, why should I not deny Him?
While I'm searching for answers
I find nothing but man's stuff
But that won't fix the current problem at hand though
Whatever it is, I will never forgive
Anything or anyone taking money
Who can't get her to live
That's why I keep searching for ghosts
Or something supernatural
The only thing I know that's supernatural
Is the Rapture
Maybe if that happened
I'd change my life or something
Wow crazy...I didnt expect to see you here Alan. I have been looking for an art group that is active. I need art therapy but my community dosnt offer it. I thought I would try DS again and see how goes. Is this group very active?
I feel your pain sorry I saw you and responded without first reading your post. I think you are asking the questions almost every survivor of exstreem trauma asks and rightfully so.
May you all find peace in the journey of your lives that no one promised would be easy!
Expression rough your art shows me the many gifts we have been given that sometimes like life we take for granted!
Keep. Plugging smile even when things are tough because you never know who you are going to affect with your soft curvy lines of a smile that in looking at a stranger can show strength and love! It also is a sign of expression! So many wonderful things we are blessed with that we overlook, until, ofcourse we lose it.
Thank you my rays friends
