Arnold-Chiari Malformation Support Group
Arnold-Chiari malformation, sometimes referred to as 'Chiari malformation' or ACM, is a congenital anomaly of the brain. Arnold-Chiari Malformation II occurs in almost all children born with both spina bifida and hydrocephalus, but ACM I is typically seen in children and adults without spina bifida.

I was just wondering if anyone has been to the Wisconsin Chiari Center? I am post op two surgeries for Chiari...first was a decompression with laminectomy of C1 & partial C2 at the Mayo Clinic and the second was at the University of Michigan. I am still in severe daily pain and I have sent my latest MRI scans to the Wisconsin Chiari Center hoping that I will get some answers from them. If you have been there, how was your expirence?

My son has chiari and we are from Wis.also,He is not old enough to go to the chiari institute yet-He see's Dr.Iskendars at UW Madison-He is a wonderful Doctor and his staff is really great-They have always treated us so kindly-He is a highly recommended Doctor-If things don't work for you at the chiari institute i highly reccomend him they really listen to you and make you actully feel like a person.
