Is AOSD lifelong disease

I was diagnosed with AOSD in August 2017. I am on steroids starting from 50mg and now reduCED to 2.5mg. I have pain in my ankle joints, knees, elbow muscle. Is this pain lifelong? Do I need to limit my daily work?
