Hi, All this started over a year ago. Just dxed this Nov. I went in major flare 3 wks ago for 2 wks. (not the 1st one) This is some nasty stuff. I was running 103-104 evening temps. Sore throat felt like I was swallowing razor blades. Joint pain, couldn't even walk. Rash. Not to mention the drenching night sweats. When I went in the flare I was on humeria shots, 8 methotrexate, 5 mg prednisone. Dr. upped prednisone to 60mg to bring me out of flare. Feeling better and starting to taper prednisone. I go back first of year and we are going to start Acterma (sp) infusions. Has anyone tried these. Hope they work.
i got 14 of those, one every month. Now i am off of those. have been off for 14 months now.
I have been battling for 3 years now, the fight is on!
