Glad to hear you are getting better. Every little baby steps gets us closer to where we want to be.
today the sun is shining i have been shopping with my husband and two boys, we are now at home relaxing, i hope you all have a great day xx
As I'm doing some baking today, I'm kind of glad it's not warm enough for shorts here today. I think we are supposed to get back up to the 50's though.
Petersen, welcome! I don't remember seeing you here before and I'm so happy you've joined us!! It's always nice to have the sun shining even if a bit chilly isn't it?? Does remind us that the good weather is just around the corner. I can even hear the birds outside!
scardey, hope you had a good time shopping!! Definitely time to chill out!!! Have a relaxing rest of your day.

PS Has anyone heard from ScorpioBliss
i have been taking ashwagandha (in the patented, regulated form called sensoril) for 9 days now. i have noticed:
instead of getting tired and ready for sleep around 2 am, i have been turning in around midnight! whoa. that is big for me.in the past if i tried to go to be that early, i would end up turning the tv back on around 1:30 out of boredom.
i have def been feeling much calmer (with full benefits in the next couple weeks.):
* i have "Exposed myself in ways that i never thought possible (like going out with my boyfriend's mom for about 5 hours. i volunteered to help her pack up her house. i don't have a car, so i wouldn't be able to leave until she drove me home. she is notorious for saying thinks like "let's do such and such first and then maybe go back." etc. i haven't been out without jeremy for that long for a couple years.
*yesterday, there was a knock at the door (normally knocking always makes my heart pound but my heart beat didn't change at all! wtf!?) i didn't even bother running to the office to see who it was, i just opened the door. it was jeremy's friend from years ago (he was my friend too). i felt totally calm while he was here and after he left. (he was only around for 15 minutes or so.) then when jeremy came home, he brought kenny, another former friend. he was around for a couple hours and it didn't affect me at all.
*i have been feeling boredom again. maybe other anxious people can relate, bu ti haven't felt bored in a couple years. usually moments of silence or ho-humness are filled with unease. but lately i have been wanting to do things to get out of my house. like yesterday, jeremy said i could choose to do whatever i wanted today and i chose going to funspot. its very loud and filled games, people, food, etc. the lights are really bright and there are all kinds of loud noises, lines, etc. i am looking forward to it b/c the games are fun. i have felt calmer in more ways but i think you get the picture.
i have had a lot more energy. before ashwagandha i was so lazy. but now i have been cleaning way more and feeling motivated to do things i have been putting off for months. i helped jenn clean her house for 5 hours and the day before that, i offered to help her move her cord of wood (that's about 4'x4'x8' of wood! we had to go across a yard and up a small hill). when i got home from that, i cleaned my house.
thank GOD my memory is improving. before ashwagandha, i had a terrible memory. my memory is improving slower than the other changes but i can def tell and so can jeremy. i used to put the remote down and not have the foggiest idea where it was. i would not be entirely sure what events happened on what days. i would forget which contestant had won "jeopardy" the night before. my memory has def improved and will improve much more in the next couple weeks.
i gave a bottle to jeremy's mom and told her it helps reduce inflammation (it does, its used to treat arthritis) b/c her back bothers her. i asked her yesterday how its going and she said, "i feel more mentally clear. you know? like i don't feel that stressed over anything anymore. i feel more energetic but a cal energy." i never told her about the calming effects b/c i wanted to see if she would notice it. i am so happy to have ashwagandha. of course, we have not felt any side effects. none have been reported in the thousands of years people have been taking ashwagandha.
anyway, take care.
