Great advice Char!!
Beuler, we are all very different when it comes to dosage. For example I was on a high dose of Effexor XR for 2 years. I was taking 450 mg a day. My daughter also took Effoxor XR but her dosage was 75 mg a day. At one point I was taking 2 different types also to get the required effect. It is not unusual for some people to be taking 3 types. I would make a list of anything that you are concerned about regarding your dosage and also the questions that Char asked above ..make an appointment to see your doctor.
Usually when you first start taking medicine of this nature they start you off at a low dosage and then according to how you feel - the dosage is usually uped till you get to a level that works for you. Also if you have just started taking it.. it usually takes about 5-6 weeks before you realize and benefits as it takes time to build up in your system.
Hang in there and let us know how you are doing!
Hugs,
J. :)
Charlene and Julie are spot on....I would only repeat
what they have advised.
Once you see your doctor and get it confirmed that you
are on the "appropriate" doze for "you" ~ it will make
you less anxious.
Hope everything turns out to be ok and they help you in
there own time.

Trust. Even though they don't always really know how it feels for us they do understand what the drug's purpose is and how the body works.
My husband recently mentioned to me that he can't imagine that our weight doesn't have anything to do with how much we each need.
I started back on Xanax December 1st. It has taken 18 days for me not to worry about the "drugged", "weird" feeling I was having just being on the medicine. For me there's this weird time where I start to get better but my brain is so used to being afraid that I am afraid to get better because then I will be out "there" where I am afraid. :D
Good Luck!

You're gonna do JUST FABULOUS !
It's 1 thing to take advice on things you can do to feel better on this support site, but listening to others tell horror stories about meds or looking up side effects on the internet I don't recommend. Those of us with anxiety don't need to worry anymore than we already do... LOL So, looking for things to worry about isn't going to make you feel any better :):) Stay away from negatives people, I can't stress that enough.
Anyways, glad you are feeling better about it.
