I saw this posted on another group and thought it was soo great. I can't wait to get the book as soon as i can afford it! And i also saw that Baby and the author are going to be in my city on July 2nd. Very cool. I hope to have the book by then so i can go and get an autograph.

I wish that there was more we could do about these awful puppy mills. It makes me so sad.

This sounds like a wonderful book. The author is going to be in my area June 28 but I think I will be on the road coming back home from Ohio and my mother-in-law's home. Last weekend I was at a dog walk for the Wild Cat Sanctuary here in Minnesota. I helped staff a table with info about the animal foster group I am working with. It wasgreat to see so many people with their dogs doing something really good for big cats. I am really gld it was a beautiful day for the walk. At the walk we had a sign up sheet for people to leave their emails addresses to get info about a bill in the Minnesota congresses about puppy mills. It didn't get much attention this year because they were working on and passed a bill about dangerous dogs. We were able to get the working changed to dangerous dogs instead of certain breeds because we believe that most dogs that are dangerous are taught to be by their owners and not because they are of a certain breed. I also wish there was more we could do but being fosters is a good start.
