Thank you for all your prayers, Tiger finally returned home late Tuesday night. She was so hungry and scared, I fed her some extra food and gave her some treats. She is still very skittish but does not seem to be injured.

that's wonderful that Tiger came back... they have a very good sense of direction but sometimes just like to roam a bit. Ours always came back and next day you couldn't keep her in the house for love or money

Something is wrong with Tiger. She has white paws and they look like something is on the bottom and between her toes. She keeps licking and picking at them. I can't get close enough to see what's wrong, not sure if they are burnt or she has pitch all over them but it does not look good.

The other thing is her mama and sister's won't have anything to do with her. When Tiger tries to get close they will hiss and run from her. Does anyone know why they would suddenly do this, she was only missing for 4 days? The cats have always been close, sleeping together and playing together. The others won't even come on the porch if Tiger is there. They used to all cuddle and sleep together on top of the shelter on my porch but now they all leave and Tiger is on the shelter alone looking scared to death. I just looked out and Tiger is gone. They hardly ever left the porch and would be out there cuddling on top of the shelter. I just feel so bad for Tiger and I hope they will come around and except her again.

hi Angel::: I've never seen that happen. Poor little Tiger, I hope she's ok now and accepted by the others.

How is her paw, has she let you examine it yet?

I can't get close but I do believe they are covered in pitch. She might have some other damage to the front paws. This whole thing has turned into a nightmare with the feral cats. The cats were not doing well at all last week. Someone who rescues cats and tends to feral cats that Tiger might be looked at as a weak link because she showed fear and was gone long. Anyway hard for me to explain but I did understand what the lady was saying.

They had stopped eating last week, I was finding throw up on the driveway. They are all still scared to death and still not wanting to eat much.

I have been talking with some people on a Catsite and some are saying it kind of sounds like they have been poisoned. We do have crazy people in this neighborhood and it's possible they could have gotten into something bad, a poisoned mouse or chemicals in the neighbors garage. The neighbors left the garage door open for a couple of days and I couldn't keep the feral cats out. The neighbor is not nice so I was not going over there. I could go on and on but I do know something is making all 6 cats sick.

Sorry, I'm just so upset over everything right now. I don't understand how people can be so cruel to animals.

hi Angel::: animal abuse is foreign to all of us who love animals, but open up any newspaper or online site and it's clear some people hate animals and are just plain savage.

It really does sound like the cats were fed something, or got into something they shouldn't have.

I wish it weren't so, and really feel so bad for you and the little cats :(

I feel so bad for you and your cats. As a colony caretaker, I worry about my cats all of the time. I lost one of the 4 over the past two years. I'm praying for your babies. Hopefully whatever it is will flush out of their system. Please keep updating your post. Cats are very resilient and tend to bounce back. I am praying yours go back to he way they were before the dog got to them. Hang in there.....hugs and prayers

It does not look good for Tiger. She was eating and seemed fine besides being scared but she was eating.

She has not eaten much in a couple of days now and today we had a rain storm go through and she just laid out in the tall grass in the poring down rain.

I went out to feed this evening and she was in the box of straw on my porch but she looks very sick. She would not get out of the box to eat so I tried putting the food in the box with her. She jumped out and tried to eat but walked back over to the tall wet grass and she is curled up sleeping. She won't move from the spot.

I have a friend bringing a trap over and I'm going to make it comfy to see if she will get in it and sleep there so I can then just close the door. She will have to be put to sleep. I can't afford to find out whats wrong. She seemed fine this morning, she didn't eat much but she was at the door waiting for food. She is my feral who always steps inside when I open the door meowing for food.

I can't stop crying. She is such a big beautiful cat. I have a few pictures of her in my photos if anyone wants to take a look. I will keep you posted but it does not look good.

She is slowly dying and I can't help her. She isn't eating and won't go near the trap.

I'm a basket case and am now sick from all the stress. I have done nothing but cry and I can't stand to even look at her. She is very sick. My anxiety level is through the roof.

I just want to end her suffering and not die a slow painful death. I can't watch an animal go through this.

hi Angel::: you're definitely in a bad situation with the little cat. I wish I had some concrete advice but wouldn't know where to begin. I truly feel sorry that you're going thru this. If the cat is seriously ill and can't be caught.. it might just pass in it's sleep... or hope so. If it's something that will pass, and that often does because animals have the inborn gene to thrive under all circumstances, then soon she'll be up and going. I hope it's up and going. Stay strong, I really feel so bad :(

Tiger has went to many days without eating and she is getting worse every day. Cats can only go a couple days at most without food or their organs start shutting down.

She came out when I was feeding this morning but she just sits there licking her lips. Her eyes are dull and she is nauseous. I'm just praying I can get her soon and have her PTS so she won't suffer anymore.

I'm so depressed and can't stop crying. I just can't keep going through this with the feral cats. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Tiger will only turn 6 next month.
