the animals went nuts for purina naturals.
i used to use iams sometimes but it is pricey. i noticed ordinary purina (blue bag) straightens out their pooh. which is a good sign of good food.
if peaches gets constipated, do what the british do, a tablespoon of ordinary MILK nightly, keeps them regular. in the uk books it says to do this. in the american books it says to give them ordinary milk only if consitpated. i do a little of both just to be safe. i use the comprehensive natural cat book, and home remedies for dogs and cats by prevention.
Thanks for the food tips. My feral cats go crazy over the Purina naturals as well but Peaches is my picky one, she won't touch it. I started all my cats on probiotic and enzymes a few days ago. Abby my dog is getting that also.
I guess I will just keep her on what she is eating as I have been trying on and off to get her on a different food since 2010. I just thought something better would help with the pain she seems to be in before using the litter box. Vet has said it could be IBS. I'm hoping adding the probiotic and enzymes will help.
don't throw it away!
taste of the wild. my friend buys it, but its soooo expensive. she insists they eat LESS of it, so it ends up costing the same.
peaches sounds like she needs a british diet. i would give her milk daily, just a tiny bit, the poor thing. lots of oils too. maybe that is why she is picky.
dogs have their anal glands squeezed. it is odd for a cat. perhaps a different vet can tell you something. xxoo
She has seen 3 different vets about her anal sacks always needing to be expressed and they just say some cats have this problem. Thanks for all your help.
one of the girls uses this and she says her animals don't get loose stool or vomit anymore! yay!
