Abby update

I took Abby to the vet today, she was having so much trouble breathing and some more cysts had burst and were infected. I sent her to Rainbow Bridge and I hope she will be waiting for me. I miss her so much.

R.I.P baby girl......I loved you so much.

I am not coping well at all and all I do is cry all day long. I am so exhausted from crying so hard and not sleeping. I didn't really realize how much I talked to her and I keep forgetting and I start to say something to her and remember she is not here and then the crying cycle starts again. She would always be in whatever room I was in and when I took a shower she would be laying right outside the door for me to come out. I miss seeing her under the table when I am in the kitchen, when I went in the living room she would follow me and lay down.

I would do anything to change what happened last Monday. I should have brought her home and spent a few days spoiling her and giving her lots of loves. This vet visit was to go get antibiotics and have a cyst cleaned up. I just never pictured my life without Abby here.

No. don't second guess yourself. the trip home would have only been for your benefit and it would not have made the end any easier. You did the kindest and best thing for someone you love. You really are never without someone who shared your heart. You can still talk to her. She was suffering. She suffers no more. We suffer when the one we love goes to peace. Just try to think of her healthy and happy and having treats and playing, doing all her favorite things up in heaven and she will be waiting for you, when many years from now, it is your time to join her.

that kind of pain never goes away. i stillllll look for rocketcat who died/was murdered in january 2008, i still look for big and michele who died in november and february. i still "see" my rabbit that has been gone since i was a teenager.

the bible says lose one get back two. one is not going to replace one. you will need two. a batch of orphan kittens sometimes does the trick. a pregnant mom (dog or cat) who needs a foster mom and then keep them all and get them all fixed and have your own family of mom cat or dog and baby cat or dog.
