Yadlim are you feeling any better?
Darkness, I just love your avatar. What a cutie.
I'm in too much pain, but it's my own fault. We went two days in a row to listen to some great bands. The last week in August is a real big deal here. Lots of bands, food, people and arts and crafts. Today is the last day. I for sure won't be there, but it was fun, now, I'm so out of spoons!
Enjoy the first day of September!
Well, with my daughter's help we have gotten almost as much done packing and sorting in the last couple weeks as I had done in two months! We still have a long way to go, especially when we spend a whole day's worth of spoons at the horses several times a week.
I had a bad thing happen while we were riding yesterday... We went out with three other riders, none of which ride the way my daughter and I do, but we are always willing to ride with new people at least once. We called it when they wanted to go past "no trespassing" and "the police will be called" signs to get at better trails. So daughter and I headed for home while the other three went in search of legal trails...
We had been out for almost two hours, at a walk, when less than ten minutes from home I flat ran out of spoons, my blood sugar crashed, and I just crumpled on my horse. My daughter just calmly took one rein and lead my horse off of hers the rest of the way home. I took him back to step him over to my ladder to get off, and then laid down on the ground for about an hour. I have to get this under control. Going to have hubby call my doc on Tuesday.
As for my luck... that is another story
Sorry you aren't feeling well Vadlim and journeythru!
Journeythru-glad my typo can still bring you a smile and relief when you need it!
I was once asked to be in a spelling bee-I HAD to be a perfect speller when I was growing up-so it is a good thing for backspace because I sure make a lot of mistakes!
Yadlim, do you take protein with you or sugar like Annette said. I, also, know people who carry a packet of sugar for those emergencies. That's scary that happened to you.
Hugs
journeythru, I'm glad that you were able to enjoy yourself. I wish that there was some type of treatment that would cure you're chronic pain.*hugs*
Darkness, I wish that too! Thank you.
Glad to hear you got to talk to your son darknessember-WHAT a child without a text machine :)
