So i was supposed to be at work at 8 this morning but i didnt HAVE to be here until 9 so i slept in a half an hour and got here even before then.....but the wife still starts her shit like
" Well so much for you being there at 8 in the morning huh? and that kinda pissed me off so i just stormed out the door with her saying " i didnt mean anything by that i was just sayin " I hate this shit and now im sitting here steaming because of that simple little comment on her part, I hate feeling like this being all pent up frustrated and pissed off. As soon as i get here everyone asks " Whats the matter? Why do you look like shit today " But i cant even tell them because they cant even get wind that i suffer from depression, anxiety, anger issues Etc. etc. because for the most part they wont even hire people with these issues so AGAIN i have to keep it all inside with NOONE to talk to seeing how the wife doesnt even give two shits, Im sitting here stewing all because of one simple little comment like hers this morning and my meds do NOTHING besides make me tired and the doc knows this but STILL refuses to try something that could ACTUALLY calm me the hell down at times like this. Im ALMOST sick of trying to get help for all of these problems and now im in a bad place mentally because of them " yeah like ive EVER been in a good place mentally " idk what the fuck to do anymore

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Leo is right, sometimes distance does make things better. You can stop the daily bickering and pushing each others buttons. You can each work on your personal issues and spend time working on your relationship with one another. You both have to want the relationship to work out and you both need to have the same goals for a successful relationship. Maybe you are also good at pushing her buttons and she does not know how to respond except through denial, humor, and passive aggression.
Sounds like you have had a lot of good advice from people on this website. I have read some of the threads and you appear to be sincere in your feelings for your wife and your relationship. You are to be commended for working so hard to stay in the relationship. It is easy to walk away. It is harder to stay and keep that raw emotion out there for someone to pour salt into the wound.
You said on another thread that she did not want to go for marriage counseling. You cannot fix the relationship by yourself. You can work on your personal issues but you cannot make someone else work on the problems you think they have that are hindering your relationship. I hope you find some solution and continue to work on making changes in your life that will bring you the peace of mind that you deserve. We all deserve to be loved and many of us are unable to accept love. We may not know how to express our feelings in a way that the person we care for is able to accept and understand. We may find that although we love one another we cannot be in a relationship. I wish you all the best.
Good luck and God bless,
Marcia
You are probably at a point where you need to ask your wife if she wants to work on the relationship. It doesn't matter if you are making all the right moves when someone else is not at that same place.
Believe me, you will feel so much better if you do. Change takes practice but after awhile it will become second nature to you.
Good luck!
