Bed Bugs

I am so stressed out right now because I have bed bugs and I can't get rid of them. I can't get any sleep and when I do I wake up with bites all over me and just the idea that I have these tiny bugs crawling all over me is driving me crazy. I've sprayed and sprayed and cleaned and washed and I just can't get rid of them. I know the best way is to hire a exterminator but I can't afford to do that. It has me so stressed out that I'm crying and don't know what to do , I'm so miserible and I know there going to get into the rest of the house including the couches and I won't be able to have anyone over.

It feels like a curse from hell that won't go away. my understanding is that you have to spray three times and be patient but I can't take this anymore. Please help is there anyone else that has had this problem that can offer some ideas, anything would be welcome I just need to see some light at the end of this tunnel.

oh Chritopher22 please dont cry ..biggest hugs..an exterminator will cost alot.bugs can fight back..also you need to take action on yourself because you will make yourself ill..idea can you get rid of bed get a temp blow up mattress they are reasonable and washable ..then look in a shop window advert for bed

It sounds like you do need to treat it professionally, if you live in an apartment building notify your landlord, it's often their responsibility to hire an exterminator.

Sounds like you're going to have to get rid of that mattress of yours and do a complete cleaning of your room, your clothes, your carpet, your ceiling, everything before it gets all the way throughout the house.

Im Uk but I think I found what you might have in your part of the world its called freecycle..people put on swops or give away things you might find another bed this way..

I read on line sometimes the sprays make things worse.I got a great homemade rescipie for fleas maybe there is a all natural one for bed bugs.Try looking it up on your computer.

I'm so sorry... I have not had bed bugs in my house. However, I know you MUST get that mattress out of there. Anything with the bed bugs (furniture) has to go. Then an exterminator would be best. Some may work with you if they know your situation. Mabye you can make payments, get discount or maybe even free. And yes, if you rent, you landlord must do it. I think the air mattress is a great idea until you can afford a new bed. I have seen queen mattresses with box springs as low as $300 at slumberland.

I have heard the horror stories of bed bugs. You could have picked them up anywhere. It's scary!! It's not your fault, and it doesn't mean your dirty. It just means you, like many others, have picked them up. It you google it, you can see they are really becoming an epidemic.

Get any piece of furniture that has a beg bug on it out of the house. Then clean. Dawn dishsoap kills fleas, so it would work with bed bugs, too. Call and see if you can get some help with an exterminator. Get some temp. furnature. It will get better!!

Thank you all for your kind thoughts it means allot to me during this stressfull time, in answer to some of your questions I don't have a land lord it is a small house. I did call an exterminator to see if they would tell me anything because I couldn't aford to hire one and he said I don't necessarily have to trash the bed as long as I can spray all around top bottom box spring and mattress, but push come to shove if it doesn't work I have to get another bed, my sis has one that I can use for awhile but I don't want to contaminate her bed and then put it back in her house that would be horrible for me to give these things to her.

but if I must I will trash it and sleep on the floor until Ican afford to get one. It's a king size and takes up way too much space anyway I could get by with a single and have more room. I am in the process now of gutting my room and getting rid of everything clearing out the closets and trowing everything. I love my books but maybe if i leave them out in the hot son they will die it's very hot here right now and that was another suggestion that he made.
