Good question! IMO--and I'm not a medical pro---both drugs affect neurotransmitters, so in some people, either one or the other (or both together if you take both) could potentially affect how you process information. My epilepsy meds affect neurotransmitters, and right after I take them, I better sleep or I swear my ability to see life clearly is shot. I'd ask a pharmacist. They usually know more about meds than the docs who prescribe them, in my experience.

Ty very much for the answer Leo...i do take both at once but the tegretol is 3 times a day adding upto 600mgs a day lol and 4 pills of haldol at night adding upto 2 mgs but its a VERY VERY potent drug but its working for me so far. I have to go to the pharmacy today anyway so i will ask him as im pretty much a hypr regular there lol

me just mulling thoughts..youve been to the gym ..when somebody goes I guess they set of chemicals in body endorphins..if someone pushes themselves they get whats called a runners high.I wonder chemical changes in body natural vs drug in system do they react.you are feeling better are things heightened more..

Yeah all that can kind of mesh together and cause funny feelings but idk im getting to where im getting all paranoid about my wife again as in cheating on me and now when im around her i get real hesitent to stop talking because im feeling that im not doing enough to keep her......UGGHHHHH I want to scream because of this feeling because i know that if she is or is planning on doing so i will become VERY VERY hostile when i find out and do some very bad things......Im not now or have ever been violent toward her just to clear that up, But last time i went damn near crazy and think that i also had a mild stroke as one night i collapsed into my closet and just couldnt move for a little while. But other than all that the new med is working just fine and im still happy.

Jokey thats exactly what she swapped me out for 6 years ago and at the end of it he ended up choking and hitting her......and he is just lucky that i havent been able to find him still to this day. idk i dont think its real but again idk

Thx irish i am feeling better except for the paranoia like i said but who knows maybe its just a temporary side effect im gnna call the pdoc tomorrow about it and see what we can do. Irish im atleast TRYING to be one of the good guys.

it does my heart good to hear of your constant courage in the face of all that you deal with. the disease has me in its grip at the moment and my sister's suicide attempt and my father is ill/dying at the moment, am broke had to go to charity for food vouchers today because i hadn't had dinner since last thursday and my daughter had two friends coming to stay and i had to get some food in for them at least. things like that don't usually get to me it just all seems to be happening together.
