Personally I've been super duper busy but still try and check in as much as possible. We are here and there is always someone around to lend an ear!

Are you meaning not more here in the group or just not as active as the main board?

Not everyone appreciates the respect and calmness of this group - many people on the main board on steppers - we have a few steppers here - but we all respect each other's path to sobriety here.

This group doesn't rock and roll like the main board, but we are a very supportative adn productive group here - sometimes it's not the quantity but the quality.

Not everyone knows about this place. The main board is full of drama and more entertaining if you are into that. There are also many who are members but don't post. I believe last time I checked there were 400+ members. The ones looking for drama here don't stay long. As said we respect all ways and truly care about each other. Glad you found us.

I don't post here a lot, but I check this board all the time for inspiration. While I attend the aa meetings, I don't quite buy into all of it, and the info and advice I find here helps me live sober. That is what counts, and I think a bunch of people do the same--come here and read, but don't always post. I very much appreciate this board!

Well, it is the holiday season. I've been pretty busy ... between that and having two parents in a nursing home, I don't always get here as much as I used to. Please stick around and add your input and continue to post. There are many, many groups here that get started and fizzle out ... this one has remained strong and continues to grow. Please help us keep it that way. I think I may have missed your original post ... so welcome to the group. I'm catching up on some posts that I missed today!

Sometimes it's busy here and sometimes it's not. I have found that even when things are slow if someone comes on here really needing help they will get it.

I guess I wasn't thinking about how often people post, but the compassion and acceptance of where people are at that to me is extraordiarily helpful. I would have thought it would have attracted a much bigger group of participants relative to the main board. Peace and love to all of you.
