oh my kathy-we are soul sisters. I have done that at my uncles house-I was seeing stars and completely sober. Lucky me-everyone around me was as drunk as a skunk. Laugh at yourself, we are all moronic-me more than others! IF I did not laugh at all my clutzy escapades, boy would I be a dull girl:)

Where are those quick witted one liners when we need em, right? lol

I did this once with a sliding glass door out to my sisters deck. It's become rather a laughing matter within the family since 2 more people have done it since me. The real kicker was when my dad walked through the screen door. Ok, the glass I understand (my sister is a fanatic about it being sparkling clean) who knew someone closed the door on me! lol But I'm thinking we need to get dads eyes checked.

I fell over on the stairs on my way to work the other day, pure class! but at least I remember what happened, so I'm making some progress!

Man, I was like two months sober, slipped and twisted my knee and hurt my back! Never had an injury drunk!

Glad you are not badly hurt, i think we have all done something like that, I walked into the door n the supermarket thinking it was electronic and would open automatically.

I always spill beer when I am sober. It's the oddest thing. After a few I don't spill a drop. The universe works in mysterious ways....

Here is one for you, I was completely sober, at work the other day, I was coming down the steps from the managers office, and there is a big room full of people at the bottom, I was coming down and my feet just slipped out from under me...lol...a flight of stairs, and me bouncing down on my butt...oh, lordy, it was embarrassing....even one clapped when I got up and said I was fine...lol...I avoided that room the rest of the day...but I did laugh at myself a lot! what a cluts I am....oh, well, the bruises will heal, and I will still be laughing with them, not them at me :)

Oh Ash, I'm just picturing you bumping down them steps on your butt to land in front of everyone. Can I admit that I couldn't stop laughing as I was reading/picturing it?

I'm assuming you were OK though as you didn't mention any injuries. I wouldn't be laughing if your pride wasn't the only thing hurt.

Once, I was at an affluent extremely dimly lit restaurant. I had never been there before and portions of the architecture were HUGE long mirrors. I walked straight into to one of them I was so embarassed! I was even dressed nicely & in Heels. Otherwise, I don't think I would have felt like such a dumb ass!

Another time, I was at a girlfriend's house and walked straight through her screen door which led to her patio. I ripped that sucker of the hinges! LOL! Geeeeez..

and people thought we all just drank too much...as for me i just got clumsier without drinking..i had 7 teeth pulled yesterday and it didn't hurt as bad as that window lol...my daughters still laughing about it and telling people at her work.
