Hi everyone. I took a break from DS for a while. During that time, things were (and still are) very busy for us on the adoption front. We had our homestudy with the social worker at the beginning of May. We got word from the adoption agency about a week ago that we are officially approved! We are currently working on our profile so we can get it on line with the agency. Not sure how long that will take. But we are also trying to do our own networking because if we find a match on our own, we can move forward with an adoption.

As for DH and I we talked with our coordinator and it has been determined that October 20th is when our contract is up. We will have to go through the committee to get our contract extended. I really hope that we get our perfect match soon. It gets harder everyday waiting.
