I've never posted on a group like this but I don't know where else to turn.  So here's my story. My husband and I have been TTC for over 2 years with no luck. It took a lot to not go into a deep slump every time it came for that sign of not being pregnant. 

My husband has a child from a previous marriage and we started looking into adoption. A friend of ours got pregnant and instead of aborting she wanted us to adopt. I spoke to an adoption agency and a lawyer and come to find out we are not able to afford the costs of the private adoption. I felt myself spiraling again and my husband tries to be there but he always wants to fix things and this isn't something he can fix so I keep it to myself. 

My biggest issue here is I'm scared to go to a fertility clinic to find out the exact reason for my infertility I've finally gotten to a place of acceptance and I'm afraid of more lost hope. All I've ever wanted in my life is to be a mother and it seems like no one understands why I am so scared to get my hopes up again. 

Many advice from someone who understands will help. I honestly have no one to really talk to about the issues and feelings I'm having.
